PHILOSOPHY

Willbe was born on March 29, 2024,
as a comprehensive power manufacturer consisting of
the general-purpose engine brand MEiKi POWER and the lifeline brand Earth POWER.

The story dates back to the 1940s in Japan.

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Meiki Engines,
the predecessor of Willbe, began manufacturing engines in 1946 at the Nagoya Machinery Works.
The abbreviation of the factory, Meiki, is also the root of the brand name MEiKi POWER.
Since then, with the pride of being “Made in Japan,”
the company has continued to produce high-quality general-purpose engines
used in agricultural and construction machinery so on.
This tradition has been inherited to MEiKi POWER,
which focuses on products that support works.

A little later, in 1955, Yamaha Motor was born,
applying musical instrument manufacturing technologies
to motorcycle manufacturing.
The company’s stubborn commitment to manufacturing
was passed on to its group company called Yamaha Motor Power Products,
which eventually transformed into general-purpose engines, generators, snowblowers and other products,
and they have run through the high-growth period.
These have been carried over to Earth POWER, which focuses on products that support people’s daily lives.
